Not dead (yet)

Fri Aug 14, 2009, 11:19 AM
  • Mood: Content
  • Listening to: Symphony X - Inferno - Unleash The Fire
  • Reading: Several doujin I'm finding around
  • Watching: Bleach - Ep 204 (almost there)
  • Playing: Persona 3 FES
  • Drinking: Water ¬¬
I haven't really commented, replied, uploaded, or pretty much moved inside this site for a while now, and this will most likely continue in the same fashion for the next 3 or 4 months. But I haven't quit art or am on a "project dry-out" of any form, I just can't work on it now.

Reasons:
1) I had surgery on the 1st of August, as such, I had to take a time out before it, and now, after it, I'm still on post-op and my movements are limited. The time in which I can remain seated is quite short (procedure was in my abdominal area).

2) As some may know, I play the Bass. I have been out of practice for a while, but now I'm looking out for a spot on a heavy metal band of my city (they are called "Scarlet Horizon". You can check them out if you want at MySpace: [link] ). Most are easy songs, one is ridiculously hard (for me), and those are taking most of my "seat time". But it's good stuff, I'm having fun and hope to pass the audition.

3) My godfather is getting married in September and just two days ago he asked me to be his Best Man. So I have been kind focusing on making that happen like it should, since it's the closest "due date".

4) I'll probably be moving out by the end of the year, at a maximum. I was looking at some places to buy before the surgery and have a couple more scheduled for when I can walk again (which should be around next week). When I do move, expect mega torrent inflow of new stuff. Seriously.

5) College vacation ends next week. That will take quite a huge amount of my now free time as well.

So, that's that.
I hope to be bringing more stuff as soon as I can.

I rarely attempt self-portraits, but I really liked how this one turned out. The reference shot I used was awesome to begin with, in my opinion, because it showed me in a time frame when I was having undeniable fun playing my bass. It wasn't about my image, but how much music affected me, and as a self-portrait, this is just the image I have of myself. It doesn't matter who I am, but what I can do.

How many Doctor Who fans does it take to change a light bulb?

Ten. One to change the bulb and nine to complain that it'll never be as good as the last one.

You're welcome, your work is marvelous!
:icongraphicdream:

:iconxsize:

:iconivan-osorio:
Thank you :D Will do my best to live up XD
:iconxsize:
You're welcome :)
Damn, now that I started that one day by day in P3 I feel like I want to play more now xD
Well I think once you can go training in tartarus I train more than usual. Maybe when Shinji joins I'll train him to 99LV in that 10 floor place :D But there's long time until that xD
:iconivan-osorio:
I feel like that too >_< i have been thinking, I'm considering starting an all new game, on Hard, to make it more interesting. New Life Cycle kinda makes it too easy for something that is going to take this long... Even if on hard.
And LOL at training Shinjiro no 99 on Monad XD. If i don't go for the all new game on Hard thing (where Monad won't be an option) i just might do that as well XD... but YEAH... long ways to go!
:iconxsize:
Yeah you're right, I've never even played on hard and on new life cycle I have mc at 99LV and 10million yen xD Well, without monad you can forget training Shinji. If I remember right there's only month and I remember that Shinji died 4th of october
